I always wondered how you could recall a mail. Well here it is.

Have fun :-)

Much the same in older versions of Outlook too, e.g. 2000 - sent items etc.

However, 1) the person to whom you sent the email will get a message saying "blah blah would like to recall this message" and 2) they will also be able to see the original message you sent.

Which kind of defeats the purpose of recalling the message really.

Good point Rupert. I was sending a mail with a question for a colleague and just wanted to delete it as I had found the answer.

Which poses the question - if you get a message saying that a mail has been recalled, are you more likely to read it than before it was recalled? Could this be the new way to send spam?
